The Fractal Science Cluster server runs workflows on the UZH Science Cluster
The server is currently in Beta mode and expected to transition to production mode in spring 2025.
If you are looking for the Fractal alpha server, it’s running at: https://fractal-bvc.mls.uzh.ch/
During Beta mode, there will be potential maintenance daily between 8:30 - 9:30
When no jobs are running, the server may be temporarily unavailable while updates are applied. We will not interrupt running workflows.
Jobs will run under the service user account for your research group. Your admin will communicate those to you and you can also see it under “My Settings” ⇒ SSH username
Check for jobs in the Queue by typing (replace $service_user_name with your service user name & shortname with your UZH shortname ):
ssh -l shortname cluster.s3it.uzh.ch
squeue -u $service_user_name
